Light Has Come
I once wandered weary in this world,
Lost, bereft of hope and purposeless.
I once wondered why darkness prevailed,
Overcome, fearful of shifting shadows and joyless.
But then, I heard the Greatest Story ever told:
A star in the sky. A babe in a manger.
Halleljuah, the Light has come.
A song of worship now reigns in my heart,
I will never walk in darkness again.
Advent’s sweetest blessings, dear Lyli …
Hallelujah! A song of worship reigns, indeed. Simple elegance…
Beautiful offering of grace, Lyli, thank you.
Singing with you,
Dawn
Amen, Lyli! So thankful His light shines!
I needed this! Thanks.
Loved the post and your photo, Lyli, that so brightly demonstrated your message and the song in your heart!
Blessings,
Janis
I think Isaiah 60 has to be one of my favorites, proclaiming the coming of the Light. I can’t help but hear the words sung, as in Handel’s Messiah, whenever I read them.
Lyli, beautiful graphics. We will never walk in darkness again. Praise Him!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
‘I will never walk in darkness again’ So beautiful, so comforting! God bless and Merry Christmas to you and your family! : )
