I know my Redeemer lives.

He peeled away my sinful graveclothes and unshackled me from condemnation.

I know my Redeemer lives.

Out of love, He wiped away the enemyโ€™s curse and lifted me up to life and light.

I know my Redeemer lives.

He uprooted despair to plant hope and healing in my heart.

I know my Redeemer lives.

My Defender pleads my cause and avenges me from every evil scheme.

I know my Redeemer lives.

Forever, my Vindicator stands firm, immovable, undefeatable.

I know my Redeemer lives.

Hallelujah, I am restored.  Love rescued me.

I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand on the earth. (Job 19:25)
 
 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a Lamb without blemish or defect.  (I Peter 1:18-19)
 
 For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:13-14)

  10. It never ceases to amaze me that those words were spoken by Job. After all he had been through, he still came to this place of knowing resounding Truth. The next two verses (26 & 27) are rather amazing, too:

    โ€œAnd after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!โ€

    Job not only held to the firm belief that the Redeemer lived, but that one day, in his own resurrected body, he himself would behold Him!

    Thatโ€™s the hope that I hold on to myself!!

  13. Amen Lyliโ€ฆI am so thankful that my Redeemer lives! Thank you for this wonderful reminder of a living Savior . My life is blessed because He rescued me. I look forward to being with him in eternity someday. I hope you have a fantastic Thursday and a blessed Easter weekend!
